Emily

Founder & Head Instructor

Emily is a more fish than woman type of girl. Her salty days started in childhood, spent overturning rocks, discovering starfish, and engaging in lively races with hermit crabs. She began her diving journey through SCUBA diving and experienced what many refer to as "a call to the water". This lead her to explore humanly limits, abandon traditional equipment and embrace the untamed beauty of freediving. Emily continued to explore her love for the ocean through acquiring a degree in Environmental & Conservation Science and uses this unique background for ocean conservation in the Sea of Cortez and for the local community in combination with instructing freediving.

Emily seeks to inspire others to dip their toes in the water to explore their own ways of connecting with the sea. Her goal is to allow all students to answer that ocean call and in the process listen, and integrate learn lessons of the sea into their lives, embracing the ebb and flow, practicing mindfulness, and discovering the transformative power of stillness.
